Dashdot is inspired by the play of light across its surface; tilt a light source toward it and a repeating pattern of dashes and dots appears in shadow. Rendered in ceramic, this ventilation block is part of the Mukura 2017 Designers’ Collection by Zenin Adrian, patented jointly with Mukura under Indonesia’s Directorate General of Intellectual Property.

Mukura breezeblock is finished with a glaze layer engineered for daily wear. The glazed surface has zero porosity, so a damp cloth lifts dirt and stains with no scrubbing required. Outdoors, a hose down keeps it clean.

Mukura breezeblock performs equally well as an interior feature or an exterior facade. Fired at over 1000°C and resistant to chemicals, stains, and scratches, it holds up against direct weather exposure as confidently as it does indoors.
