It is a great honor to be able to preserve the heritage of Indonesia. One of them is in the form of breezeblock installation in Food Festival Citywalk. It is located in Citywalk Gajah Mada, a mall in West Jakarta. This foodcourt has a beautiful interior design that combines Chinese and Indonesian Peranakan style, as well as traditional Indonesian elements.

The pattern design of classic breezeblock Colosom is derived from Indonesian batik pattern. Batik itself is an Indonesian heritage which is acknowledged by UNESCO. Besides, Batik Parang has been an important historical element of Indonesians. This pattern was commonly used by kings and knights long ago during the era of Mataram Kartasura Kingdom. The intricate motif represents continuity, which is something that continues consistency, uninterrupted. In other words, it also represents an unwaving will and process of self development and spirit.

The use of Parang motif in Colosom strongly features Indonesian culture and values. Therefore, the installation in Food Festival also brings and combines Indonesian culture with a modern interior design. The use as a partition attracts the eyes of customers. Moreover, the interiors have Indonesian Peranakan style which is visible from the decorations and chairs. The theme color features pastel green, which is suitable to integrate with the green granite ceramic breezeblock. The entirety of all gives a calm and comfy Peranakan look.

Besides Colosom, Food Festival Citywalk Gajah Mada also features classic Breezeblock Victorial. This time, the the breezeblock pattern features intricate design which goes well with Indonesian Peranakan style. The ivory color also gives off elegant impression. Alternatively, the installation of these blocks is in the form of counters. These counters also function as a table for the customers. The breezeblock helps create a light and airy look, in contrast to a boxy or stifled one. This is because of the holes on the blocks, which gives a certain amount of coverage but not 100%.

The ivory Victorial combines with the Peranakan style interior. Together, they create an aesthetic Peranakan look. Moreover, various wooden and pastel colored interiors also accompanies the elegant ceramic granite breezeblock really well.
